Our mission is to
develop programs that will allow our employees and customers
to work together toward building a more sustainable
environment for our local community. Our first initiative was the Treecycle program.
On January 29, 2009, Native Sun was honored as 1 of 25 of Jacksonville Magazine's "2009 Companies That Care" for our dedication to giving back to the local community.
We couldn't have done it without you!

ART with a HEART in HEALTHCARE, INC. is a nonprofit organization that provides professionally-guided, personalized art experiences to enhance the healing process and bring comfort, joy, and hope to patients and families in crisis.
Founded in Jacksonville in 2001, Art with a Heart is the only organization in the area dedicated exclusively to arts in healing. They work in partnership with Wolfson Childrens Hospital to assist a patient’s healing by helping to relieve stress, connect mind, body and spirit, and humanize the hospital’s high tech atmosphere. The program also motivates a sense of purpose and a positive outlook, helps build self-esteem and self-confidence.
Since inception they have empowered more than 20,000 seriously ill and hospitalized children to embark on their personal healing journey through art. Visit them on the web at www.artwithaheart.info or call 306-0390.
**Huge thanks to the Muscular Dystrophy Association for letting us rearrange things to accept donations for Haiti in January. We will feature MDA as our Charity of the Month again in March 2010!**

Here's how it works . . . .
1. Every time you purchase a Native Sun Treecycle reusable
grocery bag, we will donate 5¢ to Greenscape
of Jacksonville, a local nonprofit organization
planting trees in our community.
2. Every time you use your Treecycle bag
or ANY reusable grocery bag in-store, you will earn
5¢ per bag off your total purchase OR the chance
to donate your 5¢ per bag to Greenscape
of Jacksonville. It’s your choice! How would you like to use your refund?
Each month, Native Sun's GreenApples program selects
a local charity in need and helps collect funds or donations through employee and customer programs.
